We had a vacation the week before last and had a great time. On Monday we went to the beach and had a nice time. Emma had fun playing in the sand but wasn't too interested in the water this time around. She loved it last year but didn't care for the sound of the waves crashing in. On Wed we went down to San Diego with my parents and my sister. We had a GREAT time! It was so fun to see Emma have a good time with her aunt and grandparents. Those are some great memories! Papa and Aunt Claudette rode rides with her and had a good time. Grandma was a real trooper and stayed to almost closing with us. I don't know who was more tired, Emma or grandma? We stayed at a gorgeous hotel on the bay and grandma and Emma got to snuggle all night. They both sure were sawing logs all night. The rest of the week we stayed close to home doing things around town. We took Emma for breakfast at the airport to watch the planes come in. On Saturday we took a bike ride through Fairmount Park and along the river for a short ways. We had a great time all week and enjoyed being together as a family! I love to do things with Emma, I love to watch her face as she sees something for the first time. I have been asked why we do the things we do with her and take her to places we do when she won't remember any of it..............It's because at that moment she knows that she is loved and is having a good time and along the way mommy is making memories! They grow WAY too fast!

You defanetely have to do things with them no matter how young. I love to see Sienna's expression and how excited she gets, even if she won't remember it. Glad you had some family fun times.
That's so sweet, and you are so right. And they grow up to be stronger and better people because of that love they feel :) Sounds like a fun vacation!
Emma is very blessed to have you both for parents. You make the cutest family ever.
